THE SECRET TO LONG-LASTING DEFINED CURLS

With your Kynky Curly hair, you can have a multitude of styles. You can easily go from a voluminous afro to defined curls to a braid out! All in the same week! Your options are endless...

These stunning curls can be achieved in just a few steps!

1. Apply a generous amount of water throughout your head, until the hair stretches to its true length (this will indicate your hair is fully saturated in water). 
2. Separate your hair into 4 equal sections and select the bottom halves first for product application in the following steps.
3. Detangle each section with your hair with a Denman brush or 6-9 row brush.
4. Apply a small-sized handful of Cantu Shea Butter Leave-in conditioner onto each section. 
5. Distribute the conditioner in small amounts to avoid white residue and comb through with Denman brush.
6. Apply Eco Styler Professional Styling Gel in olive oil to your hair, from weft to tip.
7. Brush product evenly through your hair and allow to air dry for best results, avoid separating the curls for long-lasting curls - your hair will expand naturally over the next few days and compliments will begin the second you leave your humble abode. 

NIGHTLY ROUTINE - MAINTENANCE 

1. Flip your hair upside down into a 'pineapple puff' with a satin headscarf shaped as a rectangle (the larger the satin scarf, the better to protect your edges as you sleep).
2. Place your jumbo bonnet over the 'pineapple puff' to preserve the whole install. 

Doing this simple routine at night will help you avoid any unnecessary tangling that is usually experienced at the nape when the hair is sewn in.

MORNING ROUTINE - MAINTENANCE 

1. Remove your bonnet and satin headwrap that you placed on your Kynky Curly extensions. 
2. Refresh your curls with a mixture of 80% water and 20% conditioner.
3. Co-wash the back of your installation at least 1x per week using our recommended haircare regimen.
